Hurts in the sand and blessings in the stone

There is saying,"Write your HURTS in the SAND and CARVE your BLESSINGS in the STONE."

Let us Understand what it means.

There were once two friends RAM and SHYAM walking through the desert.
During some point of their journey they had a fight and in that fight SHYAM slapped RAM on his face.

RAM who was slapped was 'hurt', but he didn't say anything, just wrote in the sand:
"Today my best friend slapped me in the face."

They kept on walking till they found an oasis. They both then decided to take bath.
Now in this course RAM started drowning as he got stuck in the mire(area of wet, soggy, muddy ground),
but SHYAM saved him from near drowning.

At this, RAM wrote on a stone,
"Today my best friend saved my life."

Shyam looking at this questioned him,"When I slapped you,you wrote on a sand and when I saved you, you wrote on a stone, why so ?"

RAM replied,
"When someone hurts us, we should write it down on sand, where winds of forgiveness can erase it away, but when someone does something good for us, we must carve it on a stone so that no wind can ever erase it."

Moral :

"Learn to write your hurts in the sand, and to carve your blessings in stone."
